Northeast State offers training opportunities

   Northeast State's Institute for Business & Industry Services has announced it is now offering rapid eye check training, and a Spanish class for area business professionals and their children.
   Northeast State Technical Community College at Gray in conjunction with WCI, Inc. is offering the training in rapid eye check for pre-drug screening. The training classes will be held at the Northeast State at Gray campus, 104 Dillion Court.
   The rapid eye check training class will be held Feb. 11 from 8:30 a.m. to 12 p.m. A second session will be held from 1 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. The cost of the class is $135 per person.
   The Business & Industry school is offering a Spanish class for business professionals and their children. Parents who would like their children to have an introduction to Spanish may be interested in attending and learning with their children. The language class will be held at the airport campus.
   The Spanish classes will be held Saturdays, Feb. 1 through March 8, from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. The cost of the class is $62.50 for each parent and child that attends. Children must be at least 8 years old.
   The maximum amount of students allowed in the class will be 15 parents and 30 children.
