Hampton Pharmacy installing 'point of sale' system

   A point-of-sale system will be installed at Hampton Pharmacy.
   According to a news release, the system "will allow for all store items to be on a scanable inventory. We hope to have it installed within the year."
   Highlights of the past year include "the wonderful small-town community support of our pharmacy by our customers."
   Hampton Pharmacy is owned and operated by Jim Furman, Lanny Peters and John Stacy. The business, which has nine employees, opened in January 2001 and offers prescriptions, over-the-counter medications, gifts and health care, the news release states.
