Birchfield expands listings services to better help homeowners

   Randall Birchfield has made a number of changes in the past year to better serve the public.
   His office, Randall Birchfield Real Estate & Auction, 501 E. E St., is now a member of Northeast Tennessee Association of Realtors, allowing him to post all current listings in the Multiple Listing Service, which gives Realtors from Kingsport to Greeneville access to information on client properties.
Listings are also featured on the Internet via www.realtor.com. This enables the office to provide much more exposure for homeowners who have their homes on the market for sale. It also allows purchasers shopping for property to readily receive information on office listings. Access to other Realtors information is an added bonus when searching for property to purchase.
   As well as increasing technology, Tammie M. Jones has joined Birchfield's office to further enhance customer service. Jones is an affiliate broker and office manager with five years' experience in the real estate business. She is in the office Monday-Friday.
   Randall Birchfield Real Estate & Auction had a banner year for auctions in 2001. This was mainly due to the efforts of the professional staff on the auction team. These team members have a combined total of more than 40 years of auctioning experience and include: Jones, Jerry Huskins, J.B. Sheppard, Stanley Willocks, Janet Ensor, Ruthie Lewis, and Ashley and Alexandra Birchfield. The full-service auctioning firm handles the sale of real estate, personal property, commercial, equipment, farms and farm equipment, and estates.
   With five auctions currently booked for the next three months, 2002 is promising to exceed last year. Persons planning auctions need to book now while dates are still available for spring and early summer.
